BOFA Training (Basic Occupational First Aid)
Workplace first-aid training at your site across Malaysia. Delivered in English, BM or Mandarin.
Also known in Malay as: Kursus Bantuan Kesihatan Awal (BOFA)
Legal basis: OSH Act 1994 [Act 514] s.19; DOSH guidelines on first-aiders
Who it’s for
When you need it
- DOSH audit or compliance inspection. Show that you have trained first-aiders on duty as required by OSH Act 1994 [Act 514] s.19.
- New first-aiders appointed. Get them confident in bleeding control, fracture management, and CPR awareness before they are needed.
- Incident has already happened. Re-train the team on scene safety, wound care, and record-keeping to improve response next time.
- Annual refresher. Keep first-aid skills current so your team reacts correctly under pressure.
What your team walks away with
- Assess an incident scene for personal safety before providing aid
- Control bleeding and apply proper wound care for workplace injuries
- Manage fractures, sprains, burns, and scalds with correct immobilisation and cooling
- Respond to choking and airway obstruction with back blows and abdominal thrusts
- Understand cardiac arrest and CPR awareness, plus basic AED familiarisation
- Complete record-keeping and reporting to satisfy DOSH and employer requirements
