Who it's for
When you need it
- Main contractor won't let workers on site without it. Anyone working as construction personnel must be registered with CIDB (Act 520, s.33(1)).
- New project starting. Batch your whole crew through SICW before the first concrete pour.
- CIDB audit or site inspection coming. Show compliance with current workforce records.
- Workers from out of state. We run the session at your site, in their language, so nobody misses induction.
What your team walks away with
- Recognise and report common construction hazards before they cause incidents
- Correctly wear, inspect, and maintain PPE for daily site operations
- Understand emergency response and first-aid awareness on site
- SICW completed, so each worker can apply for the CIDB Green Card in CIMS
How it runs at your site
You send headcount and dates
WhatsApp your site location, number of workers and preferred dates.
We confirm and arrive
We confirm the session, bring the CIDB registration paperwork, and run the 1-day training at your site.
Assessment and records
Candidates sit the assessment. We hand over attendance records and guide next steps for CIDB Green Card registration.
After the course: how your crew gets the Green Card
- SICW at your site. Six hours, one day, ending with a short quiz-based assessment.
- The result reaches CIDB. The SICW result appears on each worker's record in CIDB's CIMS system.
- Apply in CIMS. Malaysian workers can apply themselves. Workers on a PLKS/EP permit or an IMM13P pass are registered by the employer through its CIMS Employer ID.
- CIDB issues the card. CIDB says it prints and posts the card within 14 days after payment.
At your site, or online?
CIDB's online route suits individuals studying alone. Training on site suits crews: everyone trained together, in their language, with questions answered on the spot.
