Frequently Asked Questions

What is BOFA Training?
BOFA stands for Basic Occupational First Aid. It is workplace-focused first-aid training that prepares participants to respond to common injuries and medical emergencies at work, not a full paramedic or nursing qualification.
How long does BOFA Training take?
Naja Safety’s BOFA Training runs 1–2 days depending on the modules selected and the size of your group. It is fully customisable to your workplace risks.
Is BOFA Training required by law in Malaysia?
Yes. Under the OSH Act 1994 [Act 514] Section 19 and DOSH guidelines on first-aiders, employers must provide trained first-aiders based on workforce size and risk level.
Can BOFA Training be conducted at our site?
Yes. We deliver BOFA Training on-site across Malaysia, using your own first-aid kits and emergency response setup for realistic practice.
Is this training HRD Corp claimable?
Naja Safety is an HRD Corp registered training provider. Our programmes are HRD Corp claimable — subject to your own HRD Corp registration status and the programme submitted. We will confirm before you commit.
What is the difference between BOFA and First Aid & CPR certification?
BOFA is Basic Occupational First Aid — workplace-focused training on bleeding, fractures, burns, choking, and CPR awareness. It is not marketed as a standalone “First Aid & CPR certification” because certification requirements vary by employer and industry. We provide a Certificate of Attendance.
How many participants per session?
It depends on the course and the venue. Tell us your headcount and we’ll plan the sessions around it.
